Weapon Focus: .357 Magnum Revolver

Sometimes it’s not always the clip size, the rate of fire, or the range that makes the gun. Sometimes, you just want to get that kill in style and with a bit of class: enter the .357 Magnum Revolver. The weapon is loaded with sheer firepower and bravado that is unmatched in terms of handguns. Certain soldiers during World War II were allowed to purchase and take their own sidearms into battle and it was not uncommon to see soldiers with their Magnum strapped to their side. General Patton was known to carry a Smith and Wesson Model 27 into the battle; he dubbed the firearm arm as his special “killing gun.”

The .357 Magnum Revolver, that you troops use on the field, is named after the special .357 Magnum cartridges that are loaded inside. The .357 Magnum cartridge was created by Elmer Keith, Phillip B. Sharpe, and Colonel D.B. Wesson to compete with the Colt’s .38 Super Automatic. The bullet used the .38 Special cartridges as a starting point and then improved the design to withstand greater pressures within the barrel. The .357 Magnum became known for its incredible stopping power, which produces enough energy to create a hydrostatic shock capable of creating remote wounding within its targets. To this day, the .357 Magnum is still held in extremely high regard for its stopping power among handgun ammunition.

Tips for the .357 Magnum Revolver

* The .357 Magnum has both considerable stopping power and recoil, therefore it is best to aim for the chest. With a couple shots to the chest, you are guaranteed to bring down your target, where as a couple shoots to the head are most likely going to miss their destination.
* Reload times with the .357 Magnum are fairly long when compared to other handguns, so it is smart to have the Sleight of Hand perk equipped as well as another weapon that could benefit from a faster reload.
* With only six rounds in the chamber, it’s going to be tough to take down an entire army. Stick close to your teammates and use the .357 Magnum to finish off enemies engaged in a firefight. Think of it as the final nail in their coffin.

This is the other must have game. It has new campaign. It’s the same time period of Halo 3 but now your playing as a ODST person. Since your not a spartan you will not have shields. You will have Health. Brutes look more vicious. And if you pre-order now you will get a token that lets you play as Sergent Johnson in campaign. So you really want to get this game to those who love Halo. Sadley I will now be pre-ordering it because I’m using my money to buy Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. But those who can afford to pre-order it from GameStop you really should. I understand that the economy is ruff so we can’t buy as many video games which sucks. Oh and buy the way to those who don’t know this game is only for Xbox 360.

Halo Wars!!!

Many of you are wating for this game to come out. Some of you don’t know how good this game is going to be. Well from what I know it sounds like it’s going to be… AWESOME!!! If you thought Halo3 was good, well you’ll be 10 times as surprised at the time you slide this disk into your console. This game is amazing. It takes place 20 years before Halo Combat Involved (Halo1). Filled with an action packed storyline and thrilling xbox live action. This game is similar to games like Battle for Middle Earth, Age of Empire, Civilization, and other strategy games. Those who have never played these kind of games well this is pretty much what you do. You use ”Rescourses” to build a base, build an army. Then on campaign you follow the objective, but online you destroy the enemy’s base. On Xbox Live you can do 1 vs. 1, 2 vs. 2, and even 3 vs. 3. This game like all other Halo games is exsclusivly for Xbox360. Now below I’ll list the good and the bad about the game.

The Good:

• Great to play with friends
• You probably won’t get tired of the game quickly like some other games
• You get to create what kind of troops you send in  
• You yourself arn’t doing the fighting your troops get all the work

 

The Bad

• Takes a special kind of interest of game types
• For some people if you are just insanly beast in first person shooter games you possibly may not be good at this game
• Requires patients somethings in the game aren’t that fast. Like when you recruit troops they aren’t just going to appear right away
• If you are the kind of person who starts screaming  and cursing at their Xbox because they lose. Well this game won’t help with the “tantrums”

 

Call of Duty World at War DLC Maps!!!

Some of you have already heard the amazing news. Call of Duty World at War will be launching it’s first DLC(Dowloadable Content.) This download will have 3 new multiplayer maps and an all new Nazi Zombie Co-op mission. The new Multiplayer maps are called Nightfire, Station, Knee Deep. The new Zombie mission is called Verrückt. The bad news is it is coming out some time in the middle of March. So we got a tiny bit of waiting to do but trust me it’s going to be worth it.

Little Laugh Out Loud

I was bored and decided to make this so check it out.  Ha when I thought of it weird moment.  But funny.

I got it Done… How I Got it Done!

Well yesterday (11/16/08) I did something that not many people have done yet. I have beat the Call of duty5 World at War for Xbox360 on Veteran difficulty! I am one out of VERY few people that have done this so far but as every day passes there are more and more that accomplish this near impossible task. Well what really was a help was the Call of Duty World at War players guide. Those that say that the gamers guides are cheating well then screw you (jk) because it’s not. It DOESN’T have cheat codes or anything for example in tight parts of the game it tells you good places for cover and stuff. So I highly reccomend this guide if you want to take on mission impossible. Honestly at some parts it felt impossible but I eventually did it so don’t give up!

Nintendo DS 2?

What is up with the Nintendo DS 2 I have seen it online but not in stores?  It is a new model of the DS its a bit bigger but skinnier and its screens are much bigger!  Is this another advantage to Nintendo or another profit after it’s humongous sale in the past couple of years from the Nintendo Wii.  Will you find this a more fun and experienced game you need,  or is it a waste of time?  Leave a comment and we can answer that.

Call of Duty World at War What Does is Hold!

There will be many new things in Call of Duty World at War! There will be an all new mode with Nazi Zombies. This does sound kind of cheezy but it is real and it is cool. We did not make this up. If you have an xbox360 you can download a Free video and watch what it will be like. In this mode you and your friends will try to survive many waves of zombies with no re spawns. The second chance perk is recommended so you can revive each other. Watch the video below.

 We just once again want to tell you that you have to get this game. And those who have some extra cash on hands you have to get the Collectors edition exclusively for the PC!

Call of Duty World at War!!!

Trust me everyone this is a must have game!!! This is the ultimute gaming experience. If you were impressed by Call of Dut4 Moder Warfare then this game will really get the blood pumping. I reccomend you preorder the game right now! Oh and if you preorder it at game stop they’ll e-mail you a beta key. I’ve already preorderd it but I havn’t got the beta key yet. So get off of your game system for a minute and preorder it now. You don’t want to miss this gaming experience. There will be flame throwers. And instead of getting a helicopter at a 7 kill streak you get attack dogs!!! They litterely rip the enemy appart. I’ve seen my friend play the beta. Plus they’ll have new perks. And a all new play list capture the flag!!! Some of you may wondering how I know all of this. Well the answer is that I have The GamePro Magazine which is the best gaming magazine out there.
